Is your produce locally sourced or imported?

We work closely with London fruit markets and directly with British farmers to ensure that as much of our produce is sourced locally as possible. However, during certain seasons and for exotic fruits and veg, we do need to look further afield. In this case, we work with fantastic fruit markets in Europe to ensure our quality is always high and our carbon footprint is as low as possible.

What is the minimum order quantity?

Our goal is to help you reduce your school’s food waste, so with this in mind we set our minimum order requirement much lower than the average at only £50 per delivery.

How do you ensure the freshness and quality of your fruit and vegetables?

We hand-select all of the fruits and vegetables we deliver the day of the delivery. Our buying is efficient and well managed to ensure we only ever buy produce when we need it, which means you will never find fruit or veg languishing on our warehouse shelves longer than is necessary to ensure optimal freshness on delivery. Our buying team has over 120 years of combined experience, so they know exactly what to look for each day at the fruit market.
